Aristocratic American

  • In my first collection, "Aristocratic American," I focus on the inner emotions that fluctuate throughout the seasons. This collection is about the way seasons make us feel. This collection is influenced by the beauty of the changing seasons and inner emotions. I seek to capture the small moments in life where you can stand still and see the reflection of a goddess in the mirror. I touch on my roots for heritage, the need for academic perfection, and the intense pressure the Silicon Valley bustle put on us. The creations reflect the haphazardness of this environment. My art is meant to envision life's moments and slow it all down. At the same time, I want this collection to continue. I want to add more life and color to it, fully expanding into what our mind takes us through. I want to create pieces that make us confident in our bodies and skin, especially mine. I started by envisioning my versions of personality and imagining the different colors, silhouettes, and textures that one would want to wear out on the street. I like these fabrics to emulate the feeling one would get from a compliment from a stranger. These mixtures of pieces are not aimed to work and fit with each other. They work to show the way our mind works day-to-day and to practice self-love, by being grateful for the small things. All clothing are made by me.

  • Creativity to me is the ability to express one's inner memories and heritage. It is a journey of thoughts rather than a destination. It is a moment to let one come up with any thoughts possible. It enriches one mind to think of the never-ending tapestry of impossibility and ambiance.
