A Fallen Angel's Memoir

Sage G.

  • In this piece, I wanted to make a comparison of an angel to my life as a non-binary teenager in today’s oh, so confusing world. Acceptance of the fact that I was different from most of my friends and family was a fact that made me ashamed for years, but when I touched the gate, when I accepted my fluidness as a part of who I am, I felt at peace. Truly, there is a place for everyone in the country, in this world. You must find them and hold on for the ride because with change, comes judgment.

  • Creativity is breaking the rules. My goal when writing is to make people think, maybe even a little offended. In doing this, the reader has the chance to think outside of what the box.
