My poem "metamorphosis" is a commentary on love. In my poem, "metamorphosis," two teenagers share a fragile, fabricated love. One that testifies to their immaturity and age.
Case of the Stolen Christmas Card
This story is based on a memory my grandmother related to me from her childhood in Taiwan in the 1950s. She told me that at the time, Taiwan did not make its own greeting cards, so the cards that were sent from America were very previous.

This is a poem I did in the same way as the french poet Francis Ponge in his book of poems ; le "Partit pris des choses" which is presented as a form of dictionary which gives things and objects a more precise definition, giving them a fonction and a new beauty.
Dear Mr. White Man
This piece was written to partner with my digital arts piece. I write this letter to the apartment building landlords who invade my home. "Why are you here?" I ask. "Dear Mr. White Man" is the piece I write to the displacement that has been caused by developments invading the community of Oakland Chinatown.

To Remember
This is a creative writing piece depicting a possible ending of a story I have been planning to write from the point of view of a character who cannot remember the past only to wake up in the hospital.
