My pieces are my experiences and my expression. An outlet to share my stories with the hope of somebody reading what I write or hearing what I say to know that I see you, I feel you I share your struggle. I tend to write a lot about my hardships through my life and the hardships of my family and the people in my community. It’s crucial I pay homage to the city that raised me (Oakland) and my family of refugees that set down the morals I carry. I like my pieces to have Ty them in them so I tend to rhyme a lot when I say my spoken word pieces. I like to incoperate visuals within my writing to give my audience a picture of what I feel. My culture and my community have great impact on my spoken word pieces and are the main topic of discussion in my writing

Expressing my creativity with my spoken word poetry impacts my life because I tell the stories of the untold. All of my pieces is centered around my community my culture my struggle and my background. This impact not only has affect in me but also to the people who feel when I speak truth.
