Waterloo Sunset by R. Davies

Isaiah J.

  • The Kinks have always been one of my favorite bands, and Waterloo Sunset is one of their most beautiful songs. I really wanted to make a cover version that would honor that beauty, but not just imitate it in any way, so I recorded what is essentially a stripped down version of the song- just me and my acoustic guitar.

  • I’ve been surrounded by music since I was little. My dad worked as a musician for many years, and taught me how to play bass when I was six. Before long, I was also playing guitar, piano, drums, and singing. Creating something that sounds beautiful makes me feel truly alive.
