• Artist Statement

  The idea for this image came to me when I woke up to shoot early one morning, in an attempt to capture the light at dawn. I noticed that, due to the way the sun reflected off of the sun protection film on my moms car, it caused the water droplets to appear red and yellow. I was intrigued by the colors and shapes of the droplets, and the way it faded from a dark, dramatic red to black.

  Expressing creativity allows me to explore my passions and connect with the world around me. It also challenges me to think introspectively and think about the impact of my voice.
