I'm primarily a traditional artist, but occasionally I take pictures at any moment if the vision is there. My "artist brain" surveys my surroundings, and I'm always looking for visually interesting views/subjects. In my picture-taking processes, I try to imagine the moment, and the action of capturing what my eyes saw at that time. When taking candid scenes, I thinking about my feelings and emotions attached to what I see physically. A lot of times my vision feels 2D, and I'm unable to process that life is really in front of me. Capturing that scene to analyze it later at a bigger scale allows me to really take in the details of the natural views of the world.

It allows me to open up my perspective of the world/in my community, being able to share ideas and spark conversation about others' thoughts about art. The ability to discuss the aspects/processes of artwork and create a conversation about the varied approaches others have really makes art inspired.
