• Artist Statement

  This piece is about learning to embrace our flaws. Our imperfections make us human. We are not meant to conform to a set of standards that strip us away from our uniqueness. However, many people fail to realize this, as does the girl whose eyes are in the dark.

• Creative Statement

  Photography as a creative outlet has allowed me to voice my ideas in ways otherwise limited by the rigid aspects of life. Exploring and expressing my creativity has helped me gain a new perspective on the world through different lenses.
