This is a piece that truly captures the moment at its heart. My dog is a constant source of inspiration for me and often brings me joy in small ways. Her movements are wild and expressions are vivid, perfect to capture in a single frame. I caught this photo my chance but it spoke out to me. The way she soulfully glances at the camera with her wet ears and prominent nose is a perfect description of her curiosity and excited but cold state. The moment as a whole also speaks to the double nature of rain: cold and wet, but also refreshing and stimulating growth seen by the vibrant trees in the background.
