Thin / Teeth

Chloe C.

  • “Thin” touches on the weighty topics of affection and eating. In this piece, I create a comparison between portions of food and portions of love. I was begging for crumbs of affection from someone who had total control over me and enabled my eating disorder. Subsequent to “Thin”, my piece “Teeth” is short and sweet and lightly discusses vomiting and bulimia and how it affects your teeth, specifically the enamel.

  • Exploring and expressing creativity impacts my life in all aspects because it lets me be true to myself.
