This painting is based on a picture of scenery I took while sketching with a group of students. I chose to do this particular image because I wanted to challenge myself with the many different types of nature. Despite the ups and downs of this process, I still managed to achieve what I had put out for myself.

When I pick up my brush or my pen, I can thoroughly portray the emotions I feel in each work or what I'm feeling right now. Expressing and exploring my creativity allows me to open up and be venerable to my emotion and feelings. It allows me to stay in tune with myself as I go through my daily life.
