• Artist Statement

  For this project, I wanted to be capturing a series of images that follows the theme of the SOUR album cover by Olivia Rodrigo. This project is a fun emulation of Olivia’s album cover, but mixed with more fun and different poses. My friend was my subject and she brought over some stickers that we were going to use for something else, but instead used it like Olivia did in her album cover.

  Overall, I thought the photos turned out super cute and great. The lighting was really good and so was the fun energy we had while shooting. We also ended up listening to Olivia’s album while shooting which made it much more fun while emulating. My friend and I have been friends forever and it was special to also shoot with her since we have known each other for so long.
