Shadows

Joshua L.

  • Last summer I took part in a summer arts program called CSSSA where I majored in photography and minored in painting. So, with the abundant amount of time to solely focus on taking photographs, I took the month to experiment. This was my first time handling a film camera but I was eager to master it before the program ended. On the way back from a daytrip to a theatre play, the bus stopped for a few seconds and I was given the perfect opportunity to take a picture. Focusing mainly on the exposure and focus to avoid developing a poor quality film print, I took the picture.

  • Exploring and expressing my creativity impacts me and the way I live because with each new project, I find that I come out with a new perspective on something. Whether that be myself or the environment and people around me, my view of the world changes along with my pieces.
