• Artist Statement

  To me, art is everywhere, it is in our daily surrounding environment or in far away places. I can be inspired at any given moment, day or night, when I see things visually. My job as a photographer is to capture the simple yet beautiful aspects of life. As an artist that also likes to take pictures, I can see everything as amazing.

  "Serenity" represents stillness beauty of peace and calmness of that view. I took that photograph when I was with my family exploring our new environment in the surrounding Bay Area. I instantly fell in love with the vibrant color of the sunset over the sailboats dock casting its gorgeous shadow on the water. The view of that evening was breathe taking and I was so in awe with its beauty at that moment. Every time I look at the photograph, it makes me feel like the first time I saw it. The photograph implemented that, it left a special place in my mind.

  Capturing life’s' small moments through a lens can be powerful. The memories can stick forever and make you feel as you did when you took the image.
