Innocence

Christine R.

  • When I visited Nara in Japan, I noticed many deer on the streets eagerly walking up to humans for deer crackers. It occurred to me that these deer are so innocent and unaware of the harm that humans caused to their original habitat and ecosystem. This photo of a fawn represents animal species negatively affected by humanity: bewildered, small, but adapting—because that's all they can do to survive.

  • I believe that creativity is a lifestyle in its own nature; being able to express my imagination through the arts allows me to not only convey emotions in limitless new ways, but also helps me to understand more about myself.
