Self Portrait

Wyatt T.

  • My artwork is a self-portrait. I took a perspective photo of myself, which I thought was humorous, and drew a self-portrait. I used color pencils, pastels, charcoal, and tape. I used the empty area to doodle, which is a big part of my school life because I doodle during class in my sketchbook. This helps me subside the energy generated by my ADHD. I taped other pieces of my art because it felt funny when I was constructing the period.

  • It serves as an outlet for my ADHD, and also serves as a place of comfort. ADHD is a big part of my life, and art allows me to channel it. I am self-motivated to pursue art, instead of being directed by others to do so.
