I originally took this photo as part of an assignment in my multimedia art class. I never thought that it would become a major stepping stone in my artists life, showing my the beauty of photography and the world I live it. It taught me that I could make art from the real world instead of a pencil and paper and showed me how enjoyable it was.

Exploring the world through the eye of a photographer helps me see the beauty around me where I would have ignored it before. My teacher has taught me to look for composition and lighting in my photographs and has overall given me a new hobby. I see photography as an expression of my creativity.
