Artwork Title: NFR Medium: Clay
My artwork is a cultural bowl. Created with the inspiration and appreciation for the beautiful Egyptian culture. Going into this project I want to capture the beautiful artwork/representation of old Hieroglyphic writing but being mostly focused on their eye catching Scarabs and there God “Anubis”. I did extensive research before creating my peace with the goal of not presenting anything disrespect or offensive. I wanted to show my love for Egypt’s most beautiful artwork and my appreciation to the artist of the past for their time consuming work. when making my piece, I started hour will slabs of clay over a hump mold I has created with tape and paper. Once my clay was dry I removed it from the mild and reshaped some area and the proceeded to and details and so on. Once my project was fire I proceeded to glaze it with a specialty glaze then sending it back for another firing.

Exploring and Expressing my creative in my artwork has help me deal with certain emotions that I struggle to understand. My artwork has been my creative outlet since I was a child. It has allowed me to release a lot of stress or certain feeling and create them into something beautiful that I can love.
