• Artist Statement

  During the summer of 2022, I went to Thailand with my family. While I was there, we went to Phuket, specifically the Big Buddha (look it up). While we were walking around, exploring the area, I came across a bunch of stone statues. There were all different kinds of statues, but what stuck out to me most were these monkey statues all lined up together. Almost immediately, I had an idea for the composition of a photo.

• Creative Statement

  Being able to explore and express my creativity brings joy into my life and overall improves the quality of my life. It helps take my mind off things and can help my brain rest if I'm stressed or can't focus.
