I chose the song Moanin’ by Bobby Timmons because it is a very fun song to play as a saxophonist because of the call and response melody with the other instruments in the ensemble. This particular song has 32 of bars of solo, and I have been working on it in my school's jazz workshop. I love working on my solo improvisation skills and have been dedicated to jazz for 3 years and music for 6 years. I am so thankful for the opportunities that I have for my musical improvement. My goal is to keep playing and dedicating myself to music for a long time and hopefully build a rewarding musical career.

It impacts my life because I love playing music and growing my skill. It allows me to have fun all with my friends and enjoy and learn lots of new types of music skills and genres. It helps me build my confidence on stage and helps expand my cultural appreciation.
