I wanted to make an artwork symbolizing the importance of people exploring and experiencing the world but somedays it's difficult because we have a loss of desire to do anything. The person in the artwork is sitting sadly in the corner, and although the "ideas"/lightbulbs of the world are shining down on him and the door is right next to him, he doesn't look up. It's not that the person doesn't want to encounter the world, it's just that in that moment he doesn't have the strength to, whether physically or mentally.

Personally, I like exploring my own creativeness because I don't consider myself a naturally creative person and it's cool to see what I'm capable of when I put my mind to making something creative. This can also give me confidence in other parts of my life where I previously doubted myself.
