• Artist Statement

  When I go camping, I always try to remember my camera. Last year, while hiking through Fern Canyon, located in Prairie Creek Redwoods State Park in Northern California, my family and I took a different trail back. A few minutes in, we came upon this staircase, and in the empty moments before more people came down the trail, I stopped to snap a picture.
