I really enjoy painting portraits, but I really didn't know what the painting was going to turn into, I had a light sketch and just started painting. I knew I wanted a pink, red, and yellow color palette and theme- so I just went in with those colors and did whatever I felt was right. I experimented with collage with newspaper. I really like how this painting turned out and I'm very proud of it.

Making art helps me express my emotions, show others love and support and make others and myself happy. I’ve been doing art for as long as I can remember and it’s always really helped with something if I’m stressed, or angry, or sad.
