I tend to take pictures of whatever I think is neat or worth taking photos of regardless if I think it’ll look good or not. I was in my house when my dad ran inside and told me to get my camera. He let me outside and pointed out this hawk that had just hunted another bird of some sort. I took a couple of photos and adjusted the lighting as well as some colors in Lightroom. My main goal was to make the hawk’s eye stand out and I think I did an alright job at it. However, I’m not one to edit my photos after I take them. I know little to nothing about how to edit properly. I normally like to adjust the settings on my camera to fit the natural lighting of the environment. But I felt this photo needed some adjustments and I’m satisfied with the outcome.

I love taking pictures, not only does it allow me to express myself creatively in a way that I enjoy. But I can capture memories. Doing so has impacted my life in a very positive way. Being able to keep these memories and share them with others has allowed me to become more content with my life.
