Fly High Little Angel

The title of my piece is “Fly High Little Angel” and my medium is acrylic paint and gesso. This piece was how I coped with the loss of my cat. I decided to paint her sleeping in the clouds to show that she is at peace and free of pain. She is painted as an angel because she brought so much joy and love in my life and was like an angel on Earth.

Creativity has affected my life in so many different ways. It has allowed me to express many complex emotions and understand them through art. Painting particularly helps me because I’m am able to see my emotions on the canvas and share my thoughts with others. It provides comfort and clarity to me.
