• Artist Statement

  My work is a reflection on how vacancy can manifest within an environment. I wanted to explore how places or things grapple with the idea of isolation and the sense of being left behind. I used expired film to capture a distorted point of view of the scene, consisting of an open fence overgrown with a patch of leaves and plants, to represent the desolation of this fence as time has progressed.

• Creative Statement

  Expressing creativity through photographs allows me to reexamine the perspectives of the human experience by exploring several point of views and creating a story through pictures.
