• Artist Statement

  I chose this piece of artwork because I wanted to highlight a story. This story fate, and how everyone's story is being written as you grow up, and changing your story is in your own hands. I think the gold gives it the effect of something more powerful than just books, and how it has a deeper meaning beyond time, how time is a concept that plays a role in everyone's daily life.

• Creative Statement

  It impacts my life on a daily basis because it is a way to express my true self, taking photos allows me to pull myself out of the situation and focus on the minor details. It helps calm me as a way of therapy.
