• Artist Statement

  A representation of my overwhelm, feeling like I am sinking despite the surface being in sight, and yet the comfort in drowning. It hurts, but it is familiar and therefore easy to simply let myself keep sinking.

• Creative Statement

  It is a source of self-expression, but I hadn't had much opportunity to pursue visual art until I started this art class.
