This artwork is a part of a sustained investigation analyzing old masters and their craft, as well as their techniques. As a person new to painting the analysis and creation of a personalized depiction of “Saint Jerome in his Study by Candlelight” is an amazing way to show my stylistic choices differing from the masters. Learning from a master painter is in my opinion one of the best lessons I could learn from and I’m here to show that.
