• Artist Statement

  When I took this photo it was when the sun perfectly hit the clouds complementing the dark sky mixing with daytime. This photograph captures the peaceful and beautiful world we have. It is desolate, scenic and when seen with the bare eye is almost indescribable. The moment when I snapped this picture it was when the day was changing to night, reflecting the new year. As the night falls, it promises a fresh start for a new day.

• Creative Statement

  Sometimes when I see a moment I need to capture it. Either through the lens of a camera or the tip of a pencil, it's my way to express the feelings I felt when I witnessed it. Exploring and capturing a specific moment allows me to bask in it's memory while adding my own creativity to it.
