• Artist Statement

  I love taking photos of flowers and plants reaching up to the sun. I like to show that nature is alive, alone, and struggling just like us. Flowers are sometimes alone in the middle of a field, but they still hold a lot of beauty and power. Small plants are beautiful too, and it's only by stopping and looking that we see them.

• Creative Statement

  Exploring and expressing my creativity allows me to escape from the world momentarily and feel happy. Taking photos in nature I often feel a spiritual connection, and it's meditative in a way. I also love taking photos of my friends because it allows me to bond with them and see them in a new light.
