This piece is a painting of my friend Priscilla. I wanted to capture the depths and beauty of nature amongst the bustle of city life. Despite my love and admiration for busyness of life, I am always drawn back to the natural roots of the world.

My exploration and expression of creativity through painting helps me become more in tune with my own self identity. It’s a great outlet for when I’m struggling with mental health— art allows me to let loose from the stress, anxiety, worries, and burdens of everyday life.
