• Artist Statement

  The original photo was taken on the beach, after a long day of summer school. there was no plan or process for this photo. I just looked up from where I was sitting and liked my perspective of the city, and captured it in the moment so I could remember that moment forever. When I started my photography class I was asked to use a photo from my camera roll and found my beach photo. It then inspired me to add a vintage look with some plastic texture and turn it into a vintage "childhood" photo.

  Expressing my creativity brings a sense of freedom to my life. I'm able to represent the world through my eyes with my photos, while also exploring all the world has to offer.
