• Artist Statement

  This piece is part of my AP Art portfolio where I'm experimenting with mediums like acrylic and oil pastels to show my childhood perspective and a child's wild imagination. This piece is bubble bath, as a kid I would wear goggles in my bath. I wanted to show how through the googles, the bathtub became an ocean where the toys came to life, but outside the view of the goggles, its just an ordinary bath tub.

• Creative Statement

  Creating art is my outlet when I'm stressed, happy, sad. No matter what emotion I'm feeling, I can pick up my pencil or paint brush to express it.
