In this art piece, I took a bunch of images, combined them and photoshop them into an original piece. In the art piece, an actress looking at herself in the mirror. In the mirror, she is slowly breaking apart, revealing a more colorful and youthful version of herself. There is a blue butterfly sitting on top of her head. The blue butterfly and the part of her face in color represent her waning to be free and be herself. But she can't. She tries to cover up the cracks and putting parts of her face back together because standing next to her is a figure with one, is watching her every move. She is also chained up, making her feel trapped. I thought that having everything black and white, would give off a more depressing and dull feeling. The mirror would represent how she feels and what she wants.

Though creativity help me express how I feel. It also helps me express what I can to say. Creativity allows me to be open minded and to see the world in a different perspective. I feel like if I were to live my life without it, it would be a very dull and boring world to live in.
