• Artist Statement

  Title: Black Cat

  Materials: Acrylic Paint on Paper

  This is a painting of my pet cat. I have a very close connection with her, I spend most of my time at home with her curled up in my lap. I really enjoyed making this price and seeing it start to come together.

• Creative Statement

  Expressing and exploring my creativity allows me to calm myself during times of stress. If I’m every overwhelmed with school work, I often pull out my sketchbook and draw for a while. Drawing and painting helps me feel better if I’m feeling down, or even if I’m just bored.
