Photography has always been a passion of mine. My first experience with photography was taking pictures of things around the house using my mom’s iphone. It wasn't until my sophomore year of high school in Mrs. R’s photo one class where I learned how to use a real camera. Mrs. R is one of my biggest inspirations and has shown me the way, light, and truth of photography. So far through my photography journey, I have learned more about lighting, space, depth, and contrast, which I make sure to include in every single photo. During my time in photo two, I have discovered what makes a good and a bad picture while exploring photoshop. Though not all the photos I take turn out well, I try my best to take good, quality pictures. I try to capture pictures of everything, because as a famous photographer Matt Hardy once said, “Beauty can be found in all things.” My overall goal is to use photography to do visual storytelling through my photos. Another goal of mine is to document memories, which are very important to me. I want to keep growing as an artist, a better person, and a photographer.

Photography acts as a creative outlet for me. Throughout high school, I have learned photoshop techniques to help further express the extents of my creativity in photography class.
