What inspired me to do this piece was my experience at school. Often, I get distracted or overwhelmed by the most small and unimportant details, not paying attention to my work or my class. I animated this short film to express how I feel in those situations, how all my senses become heightened and I notice every small detail of the world around me, how loud every quiet noise becomes, how noticeable every movement is. When this happens, I usually get distracted from my class and become focused on everything that is happening around me, and I don't get my work done. And when I finally am able to focus, it’s too late, and I push it off to the next day. I animated this in a 4 day time frame on Flipaclip, and I made all of the music and sound effects in the film myself with BandLab, so it was definitely a big challenge for me. It’s quite a personal project to me, and I hope it is able to convey my experience and my vision.

Creativity lets me express my feelings and my interests, and it helps me share my way of seeing the world. I draw and animate, and I hope to one day be a professional working in the animation industry. I hope to share my ideas with other people and to keep improving my art skills.
