Creating art is my outlet for expression. Especially for abstract pieces, I focus inward on my emotions, thoughts, and current opinions. In this piece, I brought out color and movement to characterize the personal awakening that I underwent during the past year. 2022 was a year of growth, change, and improvement, aspects that I wanted to highlight in my artwork.

Throughout creating art, whether it be creative writing or visual arts, I've always discovered communities of individuals who share the same passions as me. From brainstorming ideas to casually chatting, being immersed in these welcoming communities has given me a support system I'm thankful for.
