When I am looking at videos, or just anything I may get inspired. Once I’m inspired I get my iPad and just start sketching and my ideas just flow. I love being creative with my artwork. My imagination tends to run wild when I’m in my zone. For instance the art piece I’m submitting is called Asobu Gomoku which is Japanese and it translates: Play 5-eyed(I think). Ok my story for him is I was messing with a character maker just like playing with the app and then I was like I want a guy with 5 eyes. So I made him and when I thought more about him I was like “5 eyes would come in handy when playing basketball” so I just made him a basketball player when I was drawing him. Also as I was drawing him I literally thought him up a whole back story . And it goes like this. In his family they only have 4 eyes (ironic that their last names mean 5 eyed) anyways he was born with 5. His family always made him feel different but when he started playing basketball he started to embrace his 5 eyes because it gives him an advantage when playing. He can look in many directions when on defense which gives him the upper hand when he has the ball. I love that art has no limits and that I can get as creative as my mind allows me to!

Art helps me focus. It helps me when I am stressed. Art has been a big part of my family starting with my grandfather. My mom also loves art and drew a lot as a kid. I guess it’s in my genes but on another level. I started with drawing with a pencil and paper then I evolved to digital art.
