• Artist Statement

  "An Artist's Aura" is a photo I took while at a concert of one of my favorite bands, Interpol. The concert was held at the Greek Theatre, and the lighting was absolutely insane. With the combination of stage fog, a different not-so innocent form of fog from the audience, and the surround lighting allowed for me to grab this shot. I think it encompasses the power and confidence that a stage performer holds, and believe that it speaks to the feeling that one possesses when performing; the feeling of on top of the world.

• Creative Statement

  Creativity saves me from conforming to the blandness that this world has to offer. It allows me to stop thinking about anything else, and give everything in that moment to art.
