I wanted to make my artwork both creative and about me. I thought about my past artwork and what I love. I made my painting look like a comic because I love to read comics. I made the background the sun and moon based on the concept of yin and yang. The drawings in those comic boxes represent my thoughts. When it's daytime and I am with my friends, I talk about the things I love. At night, however, I have plenty of alone time to think about my fears. Lastly, the middle is a map. The painting is ripped to reveal a map that is hidden. The map represents my mind. The drawing is the overview of me while all of my thoughts are hidden beneath it.

Expressing my creativity gave me a way to express myself. It helps me release my thoughts and stress.
