I find inspiration when I'm not looking for it, for instance, I took this picture on the ferry to San Francisco. Sitting next to my friend, the lighting that shadowed her face struck me and prompted me to take this photograph. I thought it was interesting how her hair brought light to her gold jewelry and the complimenting red chair.

Photography gives me an outlet to explore other sides of myself away from grades and school work and has also better connected me to the Bay Area.
