I have always had a deep appreciation for sunsets and I love photographing them. I often find myself losing my thoughts when watching sunsets; In a sense, they are my escape from reality. While exploring some bunkers during this sunset, this fence instantly captured my attention. A fence is a symbol of neglect and entrapment, while a sunset symbolizes hope and perfection. This image takes advantage of a gap in the fence, capturing both a literal and a figurative escape.

I have learned that creativity is present in everything I do. Creativity both challenges me and helps me grow. Creativity allows me to develop as an artist, as a student, as an athlete, and as a person on a daily basis. Creativity allows me to express myself and my perspective in various ways.
