My artistic process for this image was I was on a hike with my camera, taking pictures of the scenery, when I saw a tree branch extending across the path.

For as long as I can remember I have spent Sunday mornings sailing on the bay with my dad.

When making or creating, I think about what I wish to see and do my best to bring it forth.
