My poem describes the pain, the internal and external suffering that is dealt to women in this world. The message that so many have tried to convey, the message that so many refuse to hear. I feel like words are the most powerful weapon one can use, and can have the impact of hundreds of guns and bombs. There is no end to the list of wrongs, of upset and outcry, of the tears that spill. And so, I wrote a poem. A poem that maybe can save someone, somewhere, from giving up.

Creativity, to me, means something different. It is expressing something that you feel needs to be said and heard, in a way that you feel will be noticed. In my mind, creativity means that I am creating something new or old that speaks to people from all walks of life.
