• Artist Statement

  My artwork is a digital photograph of the Golden Gate Bridge vista point where many people and their significant others honor their relationship to be everlasting with a lock locked on the fence. I decided to take this photograph because I too locked my love with my significant other. This photograph was taken at night with the city lights, cars passing, and the Golden Gate Bridge as the background. I put more light on the locks to make that the center of attention. I darkened the background behind the fence so the locks stood out more. With everything that I did, I believe that my photograph is a strong piece showcasing a very popular bay area tourist attraction.
