Geometrical Prison

  • While the image is simply just a power-box to fuel electricity to the school, looking back at the captured moment shows a peculiar story in contrast to what the image originally shows you. In this Geometrical Prison, you’re trapped behind these old grey bars in a gloomy atmosphere with no way out. Your only option is to embrace the straight, orderly lines and the perfect shadows that reflect them. You’re stuck in algebra, staring at the X and Y axis, the Y axis is the long ashen poles and the X is the horizontal stripe of shadows. Despite the melancholy in the photo, it is also calming and welcoming if you allow it. The gray is a light, warm shade and the poles could be seen as an accepting gate, allowing you to visit the scene.

  • Creativity to me means to put effort into making something unique and interesting.

And to make something personalized to how you want things to look, and sort of worrying about yourself instead of how everyone else’s things will turn out. It’s about personalizing your work into something individual.
