• Artist Statement

  Though this piece may not obtain a vast amount of color, the slight brightness changes through the stained class created a wide variety of gray, black, and white shades. This photo was taken in a tranquil, quiet, reflective, and mesmerizing location. The stained glass on its own added so much texture, a wide variety of shapes, and a great contrast to the silhouette.

• Creative Statement

  As the sun rises and sets, the sky turns from a light baby blue to a majestic night sky, birds chirp in the tranquility of the fresh air, and owls hoot from the lights of the north star. These each give their own description and provide a blank canvas to what a new creative day may present.
