Get Out is a poem about family relationships and the side that no one really sees. We hide a large part of our relationships from the public, and this poem is about the hidden parts that can be really difficult to talk about. I wrote this poem because everyone has those difficult moments with those they trust the most and it’s really powerful to see those feelings on paper. This poem offers a chance to talk about what other people don’t see about my closest relationships and be open and relatable to those who share the struggle. I hope that people will relate from this piece and connect to what I have written, as well as reflect on their own relationships with others.

To me creativity means a way to express your thoughts as art. Creativity makes the everyday thought colorful and imaginative. Creativity is a powerful tool you use to express yourself and share your thoughts with the world.
